Big Ball of Mud

When I signed up to present on this paper, I had no idea what exactly it was about. I was not disappointed! The authors description of a big ball of mud in the opening paragraphs drew me in: "haphazardly structured, sprawling, sloppy, duct-tape and bailing wire, spaghetti code jungle."

I liked the content and thought it was a fresh perspective on what occurs in real world systems. I think that overall several topics seem to be repeated and that the paper could have been pruned down a bit. The HTML formatting was also interesting ... it wasn't the typical conference paper format. Perhaps a play on the "big ball of mud" concept?
